Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued a notification which amends the due date of yearly filing of DIN KYC. As per new notification, every individual, who has already been allotted DIN as on 31st March of a financial year, shall submit Form DIR-3 KYC on or before 30th June of immediately next financial year.
MCA issued a notification dated 30th April, 2019 amending Rule 12A of Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014. This amendment has changed the due date for filing yearly DIN KYC from 30th April to 30th June.
Earlier, on 13th April, 2019, by way of message on its website, MCA clarified that DIN holders are required to file Form DIR-3 KYC every year and the due date of filing this form would be 30 days from the deployment of new Form DIR-3 KYC. However, MCA has still not deployed the new Form. It is expected to be deployed latest by 31st May, 2019.
